Full Jose

Classic version of the legendary mods done by Jose Arredondo with different options for voicings and switches

JMP, single-channel JCM

  • Vai mode switch | Vai mode adds a little more gain and slightly fattens the sound (+50€)

  • Holmes style Jose mod | Send a request for more info on this special Jose mod

  • Post TS Master Volume | Simple JCM style master volume after the tone stack without any diode clipping (low gain)

  • Jose Master Volume | Push-pull master volume with Zener diodes that allows switching the master from post to pre tone stack (higher gain)

  • Mars Switch | Removes Diodes when you have the Jose Master Volume (+50€)

  • 3-Way smooth switch | Depending on the amp Jose himself used either off or smooth 2 value, which also reduces the gain (+50€)

  • Tube FX Loop (+250€)

Eddy’s take on the infamous mods that were used for the recordings on G’n’R’s AFD and UYI albums

JMP, single-channel JCM, SV/SC20H

Includes:

  • #34 (UYI) mode | lower gain with sharp attack (attenuator is recommended for the proper UYI sound as the master volume has to be set very high like it was for the recording of the album)

  • #36 (AFD) mode | much more gain on tab due to the added gain stage with slightly changed voicing

  • #36 gain boost switch | adds gain and attack in #36 mode

OCTANE

Modern high gain with the ability to control the low end for a tighter or bigger tone

Includes:

  • Fuel control | adjusts the amount of low end in the preamp for either tight or wall of sound type tones

  • Depth control | adjusts the deep low end in the power amp

  • Gain Boost switch | boosts mostly mid-treble frequencies in the preamp for a tight increase in gain

  • Tight switch | tightens up the preamp in a different way to the Fuel control for more versatility

  • Smooth switch | Gets rid of top end late in the preamp to remove a lot of the sizzle that can be extreme with some cabs

  • Scoop switch | scoops the mids

  • Attack switch | changes the NFB for a more aggressive sound

ARCTURUS

Aggressive high gain with a modern voicing and very responsive tone controls

  • Attack switch on the Depth push-pull control | increases the overall attack and presence of the sound
